Size 37 for women and men
The same EU 37 shoe has two US numbers: women's US 6.5 and men's US 5. The gap is 1.5 sizes because the US women's and men's scales start at different points. Unisex styles (sneakers, canvas shoes) are usually labelled in men's sizes.
The UK scale is the same for both: UK 4.
Between sizes (36–37 or 37–38)
Sneakers, winter boots and anything worn with thick socks – size up. Sandals and leather shoes that give with wear – size down. Some brands (Adidas, Nike) have in-between sizes such as 37½ or 37 2/3.
